These and other fascinating photos from the past have been circulating with a vengeance this last week through the endless likecycle of the internet — I saw some of them on Crack Two, a friend found some on a random Russian blog. I pulled a few of my favorites from the mix. Though part of me wishes all these intriguing visual stories were captioned, I do appreciate that there is an absolute fucked up gloriousness about viewing these out of context. Your own imagination runs wild, or you plug in some modern motivation that would probably be dampened by an explanation of the actual situation in each photo. I dig.
